We're sailing.....

We're sailing on the Dawn Princess, 21 May 2010 - Sydney to Southampton. Hopefully, our friends can follow this blog if I can work out how to operate the system. We're travelling with friends Allan and Sally who have an inside cabin. We're going to buy them some of those little lights they can wear on their heads because an inside cabin will be like going down a mine. They'll probably need sunglasses when they came up to the light, or perhaps blinkers. We're travelling in an outside cabin - one of the cheapest on the ship. We've logged on to the Dawn Princess roll call on CruiseCritic.com and have already met a lot of fellow cruisers, on line, and two, Garth and Dianne, who live nearby, we've met in person. We'll be doing the KMart tour in Darwin with Garth and Dianne, for any bits and pieces we've forgotton as well as something to make coffee whenever we want it. Garth and Dianne have a BALCONY cabin. We're in the process of negotiating doing their ironing in exchange for having drinks on the BALCONY. We'll also be doing the 'Rivers Tour' in Darwin, helping in John's quest to visit every Rivers store in Australia!
