Photo - the bow wave this morning
6 June
Did my 5 laps around the deck. It makes it more interesting now that the deck goes up and down. Get to walk up and then run down while lurching side to side. Clocks went back another hour last night and I'd gone to bed early because of my Lurgi so I woke up at 6.00.I am still sneezing constantly so won't be very socially acceptable, especially at dinner. The champagne I drank didn't seem to be curative; perhaps I should drink more. Ship is still rocking and rolling today and it's rainin with high winds. They had to cancel Tropical Night under the stars last night because it wouldn't have gone so well in the rain. On my walk around the bow, there was an almighty crash at the front and the man in front of me took off running. Something in the closed off area must have fallen down. Lots of people seasick yesterday. Still in a busy shipping channel and have passed a lot of ships, some quite close. We've just had breakfast in" the Paddock". Gail at our table calls it "The Paddock" because people can be seen grazing constantly. Then, for some more excitement, we watched the water swishing back and forth and splashing up out of the pools. There is no end to entertainment possibilities on this ship. Managed to pick up a brochure for next year's world cruise so I won't bore you with info about ports you aren't visiting. Another thing of note – it was reported that the people who came on board in Langkawi to exchange currency into rupees were giving 20 rupees less to the dollar than the going rate. Again, unconfirmed but something to watch out for.

I like the bit about 'the Paddock'! I just hope nobody accuses me of grazing in there in a week or so!!
