Photo of Big Al rockin the boat

Forgot to mention on last post that Rick (Dick Who) was very pleased with the purchase of his genuine Rolex watch in Bali. AUD 7-00. Bargain.
Sheree – if you're out there, Aileen says hello. She asked me to let you know that she is now so relaxed that she's almost comatose. I passed both her and Harold holding down a couple of sun lounges on the promenade deck the other day and she said she was thinking about walking around the deck. Still working up to it. She rallied sufficiently, however, at the captain's cocktail party (see photo) to hold up her scotch and water. Amazing courage I think!! Last night there were lots of fishing boats on both sides of the ship. There was also a couple of big electrical storms. One big flash of lightening followed directly by a clap of thunder. Thought if it hit our balcony, all my laundry would be fried. Fortunately, it was still there in the morning.
Well, we've just passed a container ship and the bridge announced that it was carrying electrical goods. It was probably our six extra washing machines and the paperwork got fouled up. They were also carrying livestock so just imagine what the washing machines would look like when we got them. Typical, now we will have to form a committee and have meetings on how to solve the problem. They've stuffed up our whole day today by moving the trivia. Morning and afternoon trivia are now combined – 2.45pm. Should I complain? It's crossing the equator time today. At breakfast, we sat with an 84 year old man who was in the British navy during the war. He hadn't actually crossed the Equator so was going to volunteer to be a pollywog. I told him he'd need to take his hearing aid out because he most probably would end up in the pool. Didn't go to watch as one can only take so much of seeing people smothered in coloured spaghetti and chocolate sauce. Had our 'CruiseCritic' lunch today. It was renamed 10CC lunch because of the number of people who came to complain at our last 'CruiseCritic' meeting. Didn't matter because it didn't make it into the Princess Patter. Had only a handful of people show probably because they were all being pollywogs on deck.
